Kathmandu Paragliding

Paragliding in Kathmandu is a new adventure sport for enthusiast adventures. This trip is carried out experienced international pilots where we experience the thrill and exuberance of flying over beautiful Kathmandu valley surrounded by glorious mountain range with breathtaking topographical view from the top (2100m).

In the early morning, we pick you up from your Hotel or your door step within Kathmandu Valley.  One and half hour drive from Kathmandu takes us to Lapsephedi –Shankarapur municipality neighboring to Nagarkot followed by off-road tracks to reach takeoff point. We have the aerial view of Kathmandu valley along with Langtang mountain range, Ganesh himal and many other surrounding peaks during Kathmandu Paragliding. The view depends upon the weather of the day, clouds etc.

Note: The climatic condition might postpone the whole schedule of the day you have planned for.

Best time to fly in Nepal

The paragliding season in Nepal starts in September and ends in early June. Though its monsoon during July and August paragliding in Kathmandu could be done depending upon weather of the day.  The best time to visit is mid September till April. The weather is consistent and therefore great for paragliding.
