Schematics Pin mapped is wrong. But the cad files are already verified?

0

pin1 mapped to pin 5, 2 to 6,3 to 7,4 to 8, but the datasheet shows, pin 1 mapped to pin8, 2 to 7,3 to 6,4 to 5.
I used this in Altium and got cross mapping in footprint, please check this.
You have mentioned it has been verified.

Please, check with the verifier, whether we can trust them.
Else people may silently leave from your websites due to these false verification certificate.

Hi Yathish

I am Amina, stepping in for Vik. Thank you for taking the time to report this and for sharing the details.

We carefully reviewed the part and found that the difference is due to a change in the manufacturer’s datasheet between revisions v.9 and v.11.

Our CAD model follows the pin mapping specified in the latest manufacturer datasheet, v.11. Rest assured that the pin mapping and 2D model are correct. For your reference, please find the latest datasheet versions here:
https://yageogroup.com/content/datasheet/asset/file/PYU-YC_TC_GROUP_51_ROHS_L

However, we found that the datasheet previously linked on the part page was still the older v.9 revision. This is what caused the apparent mismatch between the CAD model and the datasheet you were referencing.

We sincerely apologize for the confusion this caused. Your concern about being able to trust the verification status is completely understandable, and we take this feedback seriously.

We have already updated the datasheet on the part page to the latest revision. As part of our CAD creation process, we use the latest documentation and revisions available from the manufacturer when creating and verifying the 2D and 3D models. We also record the datasheet revision used for verification under the Verification tab.

We will review this case internally with our team as well to help ensure that the datasheet and related metadata on our part pages remain aligned with the latest manufacturer documentation.

Thank you again for catching this and bringing it to our attention. Feedback like this helps us improve the accuracy and reliability of our models and verification process.

Best Regards
Amina
